☞ An illustrator: Sheilah Beckett

Sheilah Beckett (1913-2013) was the first female artist hired to work at New York’s Charles E. Cooper Studio in 1942. Beckett work fields included advertising, children’s books and greeting cards.

Beckett never stopped drawing, and she would work with different medias, when she was in her 90s, she even worked with a Wacom Tablet. Cool!
